Sponsorship

We are often asked what is involved in sponsorship and how much does it cost?

In the main, people are interested in sponsorship to bring to the attention of a mainly local audience their business and services in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. However, others sponsor to commemorate an important birthday or anniversary whereas some sponsor just to support the work of Yeo Valley Lions in the area. Whatever your reason, we're happy to talk to you - and you can see from the labels on the barrels the variety and range of businesses we attract!

With regard to cost, our main sponsorship is for a barrel and costs £95. For this your barrel will have on it your name, business details, logo and a short message. Additionally, you will receive an invitation for two to the sponsors Happy Hour reception on the Friday evening the festival starts, and a listing in the festival programme. We also have options for Gold sponsorship at £190. These include, extra invitations for the Reception along with gold badges for two barrels and greater prominence in the festival programme.

Over the last few years we've expanded the range of ciders and wines, so for the same £95 we can offer sponsorship of 2 boxes of cider on the same basis and price as the barrel sponsorship. Or a small case of wine at £50

 In 2019 we ran a Gin Bar for the first time, it proved so popular we're having another one this year! We're offering sponsorship of a bottle of gin for the wallet friendly price of £35 - perfect for celebrating a significant birthday, maybe one with an '0' at the end of it, or marking a family event, say a wedding anniversary or the birth of a child or grandchild. For your donation , we'll give you a G & T of your choice and a mention on the listing we'll have on the bar, you'll also have the satisfaction of knowing you're helping us raise money for worthy local causes.'

Whatever level of sponsorship you choose, we can assure you your money will work hard. This year will be our 18th such festival, so we know how to run a tight ship where costs are concerned. Everyone involved in the festival is an unpaid volunteer, being either a member of Yeo Valley Lions Club, or a supporter of the club.  In fact, to create the right ambiance for the festival we invite top class musicians - and most of them like attending the festival so much they give their services at a discounted rate!
