Our presentation evening
During a recent presentation evening, Yeo Valley Lions contributed more than £5,000 to several local charities. This funding was generated from our well-loved Claverham Beer Festival and Strawberry Walk. Celebrating its 21st year, the Claverham Beer Festival has raised over £100,000 for local charities. President Roger Gibbins awarded cheques to each of the recipients.

Presentation evening 2024

Bristol Children's Help Society/ Barton Camp:
home of the Bristol Childrens' Help Society (BCHS) at Winscombe which supports disadvantaged children living in the region. At certain times of the year, these children come to Barton Camp for a free or heavily subsidised break or holiday, giving them support towards - and respite from - their often-difficult lives. Barton Camp is run by a group of dedicated volunteers.

Guide Dogs for the Blind
Over the years we've developed a wide range of services with and without dogs to support people living with a vision impairment. Children and adults. Friends and family. Whoever you are, our expert staff, dedicated volunteers and life-changing dogs are here to help you live actively, independently, and well.

Blood Bikes
Our mandate is to actively work towards parity with other front line emergency services in terms of legislative support and recognition by various government departments and agencies on national topics. We are also active in promoting the professional activities of our members to the Public and our wider NHS 'clients'
