Who We Are
Youth Team
The team’s remit is in all areas concerning the advancement of young people in the
Yeo Valley catchment area.
We work mainly with youth groups and clubs where young people are encouraged to broaden their knowledge and experience in various pursuits.
Examples include:
Sports clubs
Youth clubs and young peoples’ groups
Schools
Scout and Girl Guide Associations
Musical bands and those wishing to gain musical training/

We are particularly interested in sponsoring young people seeking to achieve excellence in their chosen areas of interest, and in helping youth organisations by e.g. helping to fund awards recognising young people’s’ achievements.

Well done Yatton Junior School
Nominated by Yeo Valley Lions, a team from Yatton Junior School won the Roar award for the SW District with their imaginative invention of a Hatinator. This enabled a small solar panel in a hat to charge phones and tablets on the go.
Well done Yatton Junior School for having such great children with wonderful innovative ideas and well done Sarah Howard for such enthusiasm and hard work
