2024 Lions Beer & Cider Festival

LIONS CLAVERHAM BEER and CIDER FESTIVAL

Lions Claverham Beer and Cider Festival is now an annual event supported by the local community and generous sponsors. Started in 2003 and since then we have hosted over 400 beers together with local ciders and more recently a selection of gins. 

Although now also established as a popular community event Yeo Valley Lions Club’s funds have also benefited by over £100,000 in that time and helped to support our welfare and youth projects.

Traditionally over the weekend we would have on offer 26 craft beers, 8 local ciders as well as a broad choice of gins. A well-stocked BBQ ensures that no one goes hungry! Musical entertainment is provided on the two evenings. The Saturday afternoon is aimed at the family and has included a selection of children’s entertainment including Punch & Judy, which has proven to be very popular.

The funds raised for the Lions Club’s charity account are mostly used for the benefit of local organisations and individuals. This includes the cost of running our community minibus and over recent times contributions to schools, youth groups, food bank operations and welfare of the elderly and families.

Yeo Valley Lions Club is very appreciative of the contribution of our members, sponsors, friends and supporters who together make the Beer Festival a continued success.

The dates for 2024 are Friday 28th June and Saturday 29th June
